Marissa Espina is GPM’s Technical SEO Specialist, responsible for diagnosing and fixing the technical issues that prevent dental websites from ranking and performing as they should. She conducts site audits, identifies problems like slow load times, crawl errors, indexation issues, and poor site architecture, then implements solutions that improve both search visibility and user experience.

Marissa’s work is foundational: if a website has technical problems, no amount of content or backlinks will compensate. She ensures that sites are built on a solid technical foundation: fast, crawlable, properly structured, and optimized for Core Web Vitals so that all other SEO efforts can actually deliver results.

She also executes on-page, off-page, and local SEO strategies, working closely with the broader SEO team to ensure that technical optimization supports the overall search strategy. Her focus is on sustainable improvements that protect and enhance rankings over time, not quick fixes that create future problems.

Before joining GPM, Marissa worked across diverse industries, building expertise in technical analysis and SEO execution. She’s driven by the challenge of taking a website with poor visibility and systematically improving its performance until it ranks competitively—measurable progress that translates into real business impact.

Outside of work, Marissa finds balance through cooking and baking, where she can be creative and hands-on in a completely different way.
