Time, quality or cost… you can only pick two. Which ones are the most important in terms of your dental marketing? Xana’s here to break down the pros and cons of big-box dental marketing companies versus boutique agencies. Check it out!
Xaña: 00:00 When it comes to dental marketing, what do you think is the most important thing: time, quality or cost? I’m going to tell you: none of the above.
Xaña: 00:07 I’m Xaña Winans, thanks for joining me for another edition of Wednesday Wisdom. So there’s an old adage in business that says, time, quality, cost, pick any two. You don’t get all three. You can’t get it cheap and fast and really high quality. It’s just impossible.
Xaña: 00:24 So, I want you as the business owner to decide what’s most important to you when you’re picking a dental marketing partner. If you need something done really, really quickly? Absolutely, the big box template solutions, they are the right choice for you. A boutique agency is going to take longer because it’s more custom and there’s more time put into the development.
Xaña: 00:43 When it comes to cost big box companies can definitely be less expensive with templated solutions, because it’s faster for them in terms of development time and getting something up. However, we do accommodate for cost. We have payment plans to make sure everything is feasible for practices.
Xaña: 01:00 Ultimately, the last thing, and I think the most important part of the triangle is the quality. So, do you want marketing that is going to be very custom, very personal to you, that understands your practice management values and your philosophy and how you care for your patients and that quality is going to come through in the relationship. It does take a little more time for that to develop.
Xaña: 01:23 Ultimately, the most important thing is going to be your results. Results are what drive your investment in any dental marketing, so you want to make sure that the company you’re working with is looking for ways to measure the impact of what they have been doing for you in terms of a strategy, that they’re always in contact with you to make sure that what they said they were going to do is actually giving you the result you’re looking for and if not, they’re helping you to change strategy to get the ultimate result that you care about.
Xaña: 01:52 So, when you come to picking an agency for your next dental marketing project, keep that triangle in mind. Time, quality, cost. Pick two. Which one’s going to get you the best result? Thanks so much for joining me. I’m Xaña Winans. We’ll see you at the next Wednesday Wisdom.
