Marketing Account Executive

Responsible For:

This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities while building and maintaining ongoing relationships with existing clients. Will also retain responsibility for managing any projects as assigned and on your own closed new business.

Reach and exceed assigned monthly sales goals
Identify and solve client problems with strategic marketing initiatives

Work Requirements for This Position

Sales/New Business
Seek out new business opportunities with inactive clients as well as undiscovered leads
Appropriately screen inbound leads as A/B/C/D prospects
Move A & B leads towards development of long-term, comprehensive marketing plans focusing on strategies that meet the client’s goals and budget
Write and present complete marketing plans, moving client towards final decision within 90 day window
Following close of contract, act as the link between the client and agency by maintaining regular contact ensuring constant and consistent communication
Transition client to the next phase of plan in a timely manner
Monitor personal monthly sales progress
Monitor client’s results and recommend necessary changes and/or new marketing strategies
Conduct review calls with at least 75% of all active clients each quarter

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Detailed understanding of the discovery process and steps needed for the development of a strategic marketing plan
Ability to present recommendations to clients and close them on new business
Knowledge of all aspects of marketing including internal, external and internet

Experience Needed for this Position

5+ years proven sales experience
3+ years of strategic marketing and advertising development experience (dental not required)
Agency experience preferred
